rootBoard

Turn meeting transcripts and messy context dumps into an editable map of root problems

A rootBoard whiteboard showing four independently identified problems from a team retrospective

01 — The Problem

Better answers start with a better understanding of the problem

A transcript captures everything said and a context dump expresses what happened, but neither necessarily communicates the core problem clearly. rootBoard approaches this like a team of consultants would, applying different problem-solving frameworks to uncover its core drivers

Specialist agents analyze the evidence through different frameworks, then validate and debate its core problems

02 — The Approach

Identify problemsfrom various lenses

Classifier selects two to four lenses that best fit the source. Separate agents analyze the evidence in isolation, then a synthesizer compares what converges, what conflicts and where the evidence is still thin

01 · Source

Transcript or context dump

One unedited source of evidence is provided to the agents

02 · Classify + analyze

01

Identify

Selects the best-fit frameworks, then dispatches specialist agents to pinpoint root causes

02

Compare

Runs each lens independently, then preserves areas of convergence and useful disagreements

03

Interact

Produces an editable HTML board that works without a server

04 — The Roadmap

Extend how rootBoard starts, remembers, and adapts

01

More ways to start

Accept PDFs, documents and audio without requiring a separate conversion step

02

Persistent boards

Save edits beyond the current browser session and make boards easier to revisit and share

03

Custom lenses

Let people add their own problem-framing frameworks for specialized contexts
